The phrase "bring home the bacon" felt different after I became a single mom... Not only did I bring home the bacon, I bought the bacon, cooked the bacon and then cleaned it up also.  As life became busier with growing twins my normal prestine organization started to suffer, and I realized that having some well placed items would help our lives a lot!

Enter Unexpected Kits - not just a side hustle for me but also a life saver in those life situations that can catch you or your kids off guard and ruin anything from a soccer or basketball game to a fun night out.

Unexpected Kit was started by a mom who knows firsthand the challenges of navigating the tween years while dealing with the physical and emotional changes of post-menopause. After searching for kits that addressed these specific needs and coming up empty-handed, she decided to start curating her own.
